Bin Odour Solutions (B.O.S.) sells 2 products only outlined below.
1a. Bin Bombs fragrance pellets
Available in 4 container sizes- 250g, 1kg, 4kg & 10kg.
Bin Bombs are small, pink, fragrant clay pellets. These pellets are infused with natural aromatic oils and naturally occurring Citronella.
Not hazardous according to the criteria of the Globally Harmonised Hazard Classification System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals*
1b. Organza Bags (to put the Bin Bombs pellets into)
These material bags are available for purchase in 2 sizes- Small & Medium.
Modern organza bags are woven with synthetic filament fibres such as polyester or nylon.
2. Use of Product
The purpose of the Bin Bombs fragrance pellets is for neutralising odours of items such as waste in Garbage & FOGO Wheelie Bins (Food Organic, Green Organic), Nappy Bins, Kitty Litter, Kitchen Bins, Toilet areas etc. Consumers can scoop the fragrance pellets directly to the bottom of a bin or scoop the fragrance pellets into an organza bag and dangle the bag from the top of the bin. A small amount of fragrance pellets can be sprinkled on to the top of kitty litter in a kitty litter tray.
Bin Bombs will be fragrant for at least 1 week to 4 weeks depending on desired application. The Bin Bombs container must have the lid securely fastened to keep the pellets fragrant and odour neutralising.
No adverse health effects are expected if the product is handled in accordance with the directions on the Bin Bombs container label. Do not swallow. Keep out of Reach of Children.
3. Bin Bombs Ingredient Overview
Bin Bombs are made from natural raw materials, are fully biodegradable and safe to use. This product is non-toxic, contains no phosphates or harsh chemicals and represents a viable and environmentally responsible alternative to chemical-based products. Bin Bombs also contain Citronella. All components of this product are readily biodegradable (AS4351).*
4. Handling & Storage
Store in the original container in a cool, well ventilated area out of direct sunlight. Keep containers closed & securely fastened when not in use.
No adverse health effects are expected if the product is handled in accordance with the directions on the Bin Bombs container label and outlined in the Bin Bombs Safety Data Sheet located on the B.O.S. website.
4.a. In Case of Fire
Bin Bombs are not flammable. Not combustible. Use extinguishing media appropriate to the source of the fire*
4.b. First Aid Measures
Excessive inhalation- Remove from exposure.
Ingestion- Rinse mouth with water. Do not induce vomiting. Give a glass of milk or water to drink.
Skin- Remove contaminated clothing and flush affected area with water. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use.
Eye- If in eyes, hold eyelids apart and irrigate with clean water for 15 minutes.
Advice to Doctor- Treat symptomatically*
5. Parties to Sale of Goods
Seller: Bin Odour Solutions (B.O.S.- ABN 96 272 432 977)
Consumer: General Public, Businesses, Organisations.
The Bin Bombs fragrance pellets and Organza Bags are sold by Bin Odour Solutions in an online shop environment on the Bin Odour Solutions Website. Due to the outbreak of Covid 19 this is the only method of sale currently for Consumers (11 May 2020).
6. Prices & Payment
Prices valid as of 11 May 2020- The prices of goods sold by Bin Odour Solutions are currently found on the B.O.S. website- https://binodoursolutions.com.au/shop/
All the prices on the Bin Odour Solutions website are in Australian Dollars and include GST. Prices are valid until further notice.
7. Shipping & Delivery
Standard shipping & packaging costs for each Bin Bombs container size are set as follows (although Sendle often reduces these prices)-

1kg Container- $15,
4kg Container- $17.50,
10kg Container- $32.50.
Free shipping for Organza Bags.
Free shipping to the Hobsons Bay area of Melbourne until 31 December 2022.

Free postage for these locations isn’t included for Postage Lockers or PO Boxes as Australia Post requires these orders to be posted.
Goods will only be shipped to the Customer on receipt of payment unless otherwise agreed upon by Bin Odour Solutions in writing with a date of payment specified & agreed upon by both parties. If payment is not received in the agreed amount of time, Bin Odour Solutions will contact the Customer concerned and discuss new payment terms. If payment is not made by the Customer in a reasonable timeframe agreed upon by B.O.S., Bin Odour Solutions has the right to have all supplied goods returned by the Consumer immediately (at the Consumers cost) and/or seek legal action to retrieve full payment as required.
7.a. Shipping Policy & Delivery Timeframes
Bin Odour Solutions products will only be sold and shipped within Australia.
After payment has been received by Bin Odour Solutions, products will be dispatched within 3 business days. Unless otherwise agreed upon, all products will be sent as standard shipping. Postage will be sent by Sendle or Australia Post. Due to Covid 19 these third party postal companies are experiencing delays which Bin Odour Solutions is unable to control. Hobsons Bay area deliveries will be made by B.O.S. Staff within 3 business days from payment being received. In the instance that the order is not delivered or significantly delayed due to a postal company issue the Customer should contact Bin Odour Solutions and advise accordingly. Bin Odour Solutions will contact the postal company concerned and arrange a suitable resolution for all parties.
The 10kg Bin Bombs container may have a delivery time of up to 10 days until further notice.
At the time of writing these Terms & Conditions (11 May, 2020), Covid 19 was not impacting the supply of Bin Bombs fragrance pellets to Victoria. This isn’t expected to change but if it does in the future, time frames will change accordingly.
7.b. Transportation of Goods
Bin Bombs is NOT classified as Dangerous Goods according to the criteria of the Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road & Rail (ADG Code).*
8. Guarantees & Warranties (Australian Consumer Law)
Bin Odour Solutions currently offers a money back guarantee. A full refund will be given to people who use our Bin Bombs fragrance pellets as per our instructions for 1 month and if they aren’t satisfied with the results a full refund will be given.
To keep the freshness and neutralising properties of the fragrance pellets, Consumer must securely place the lid on the Bin Bombs. An unopened Bin Bombs container has a shelf life of 3 years.
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), as a seller of goods, there are certain consumer guarantees that automatically apply to goods. According to the ACL, the goods sold must be:
- Of acceptable quality
- Fit for purpose
- Free from defects
- Safe
- Durable
9. Returns, Refunds & Complaints
Bin Odour Solutions will not accept returns for change of mind.
If the Consumer claims the Bin Bombs fragrance pellets or Organza Bags are supplied to an unacceptable quality Bin Odour Solutions will provide the Purchaser with an equivalent replacement or refund (depending on the Customer’s wishes). The Consumer must first prove the condition of the product with a photo on receipt of the product and a written description of the complaint emailed within one week of the receipt of goods to B.O.S. If the goods are damaged in transit by a third party, the Courier/ Delivery Service will be contacted by Bin Odour Solutions for possible financial compensation or other suitable resolution. Bin Odour Solutions will contact the Consumer with the third party outcome.
If a Consumer has a complaint regarding the products or service provided by Bin Odour Solutions the Consumer is requested to contact B.O.S. Management directly by phoning 0488 008 362 to lodge the complaint. All care will be taken to resolve the complaint in a timely manner agreeable to both parties.
10. Limitation of Liability
Bin Odour Solutions is a Distributor of Bin Bombs Pty Ltd, Western Australia. While all care is taken to supply the Customer with intact goods and fragrance pellets of acceptable quality, limited responsibility is taken for any Bin Bombs product that has for some reason, been supplied to the Distributor, Bin Odour Solutions, in a poor state. In the unlikely event of faulty containers or damaged fragrance pellets that Bin Odour Solutions was not made aware of prior to sale, Bin Odour Solutions would seek assistance from Bin Bombs Pty Ltd. The Consumer would in the first instance, contact Bin Odour Solutions Management on 0488 008 362 and lodge a complaint as per Section 9 of these Terms & Conditions, ‘Returns, Refunds & Complaints’.
Bin Bombs must be used in accordance with the Bin Bombs Instruction label on the plastic container and the Instruction sheet supplied by Bin Odour Solutions. Keep Out of Reach of Children. Do not swallow. If the Consumer does not follow these instructions Bin Odour Solutions will not be held liable for personal illness or injury. A Bin Bombs Safety Data Sheet is available on the B.O.S. website.
Bin Bombs Pty Ltd, has conducted pharmaceutical testing and a Safety Data Analysis (MSDS*) assessing the chemical content of Bin Bombs and it has been found that Bin Bombs deodorant pellets are safe to go in the FOGO Wheelie Bins (Food Organic, Green Organic)/ Organic Wheelie Bins and will not interfere with the composting process at Organic recycling facilities. All components of this product are readily biodegradable (AS4351).* Bin Odour Solutions accepts the findings of the MSDS but assumes no responsibility for the findings.
11. Bin Bombs Safety Data Analysis
No adverse health effects are expected if the product is handled in accordance with the Health Hazard Summary label and the Bin Bombs Safety Data Sheet.
The information contained in the Safety Data Sheet is believed to be accurate and reliable; however, Bin Bomb Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any inaccuracy in the information or for any loss, injury or damage whatsoever arising from the use of this product as conditions and methods of use are beyond our control. Users should read this Safety Data Sheet and evaluate the information in the context of how the user intends to handle and use the product in the workplace including the use of this product with other products.
12. Intellectual Property Rights & Governing Law
“Bin Odour Solutions” is a registered Victorian Business and Business Name. All rights ensures as per the Australian Securities and Investments Commission’s (ASIC) register under section 33(8) of the Business Names Registration Act 2011.
The Bin Odour Solutions website has 12 original photos insitu that are not available for public use. Direct promotion of the Bin Odour Solutions website for positive advertising purposes is allowed.
13. Future Changes
Bin Odour Solutions will amend their Terms & Conditions periodically as the business environment dictates or as per changes to governing law. T & C’s have been altered due to Covid 19 and will be once again amended after the Victorian Government Restrictions are lifted and when it appears safe to conduct business again safely for both B.O.S. Staff and Customers. New Terms and Conditions will be published on the Bin Odour Solutions website and available on request.
